Matthew the supervisor was amazing. We came after a very big football game and he was very accommodating and kind. The food was amazing. Outside despite it being cold season was warm. Service was quick, kind and good. Definitely a fave mama Margie's spot.
We've been going to mama Margie's since they opened. I even met the owner, Mama Margie, at a catered event at the downtown library. We have since moved away to California, but every time we visit, we make our trip to the zarzamora location. Our favorites are the bean and cheese tacos, carne guisada tacos, chips and queso, and the nachos. It's gotten pricey but still our favorite. Love the free chips when you dine in. It's busy and sometimes messy, but still worth it.
This is one of the best tacos in San Antonio I don't now what the other people are talking about.
My parents come to this location all the time. Staff is so nice. They prepare your food quickly and accurately. The dining area and kitchen is always clean. We always enjoy ourselves when we stop by for some Mexican food. The nachos are huge! The chalupas are great, and the tacos are delish!
